In-box cushioning system
Ensuring products which are delivered to customers in boxes arrive at their destination in perfect condition is an essential part of the supply process. This can be especially difficult when sending valuable, fragile and awkwardly shaped items.
PadPak was developed for just such situation being the most effective way of protecting boxed products from damage during delivery as well as providing an affordable material which is easy for customers to recycle after use.
A highly versatile packaging system, PadPak is ideal for cushioning, wrapping, blocking & bracing even the most valuable and fragile products - from computer monitors, radiators and replacement automotive parts to fine china, paintings, circuit boards and surgery kits.
Dependent on the strength of packaging required, 1, 2 or 3-ply specialist Kraft paper is separated allowing air to be trapped inside the layers. Inside the patented converting machine the paper layers are crimped together to form a protective cushioning pad which can then be used to safely pack even the most difficult products in the most cost-effective way.
Pads for heavy cushioning can be formed using the PadPak Junior© and PadPak Senior© machines, whilst the PadPak LC™ provides an ideal high-speed solution for medium to light cushioning.
